Over the years I've come to realise my 'happy place' is in the hills and mountains, away from the hustle and bustle of urban living.  It's the place where I feel alive.  Where I feel both insignificant and powerful at the same time.
When I look back at my experiences to date, those I remember fondest are of my adventures, where I would seek to bring maps to reality, while capturing my travels on camera to pour over the photographs and memories upon my return.
I've been away from the hills for too long and right now I wish to address the balance. My young family are priority but I want to be the mum my child can look to, as someone who was brave enough to reach for their goals and have the drive to see them through, however long it takes.
Here is the start of this journey that will hopefully lead to many more adventures.
